Visitor arrivals in South Cotabato reached 166,309 for the month of October this year, the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum Unit (ACTMU) reported.
Richie Matunding, ACTMU Statistician disclosed that LGUs that posted high visitor arrivals are the towns of Lake Sebu, Norala, Surallah, Banga, Tampakan and Tupi, and City of Koronadal.
Le Sebu’s visitors registered 69,201, Norala – 21,021, Surallah – 16, 353, Banga – 15,556, Tampakan – 15,413, Tupi – 10,924 and City of Koronadal – 12,940.
Meanwhile, contributions of other LGUs are as follows; Polomolok – 745, Sto. Nino – 341, Tantangan – 394, T’boli – 3,421.
Lake Sebu, Tupi, Surallah, Banga and City of Koronadal are consistent top 5 LGUs in visitor arrivals for the first 10 months of 2023, according to ACTMU.
