Lake Sebu town is the top tourist destination in South Cotabato for the first quarter of 2023 accounting for 189,348 out of 395,563 total visitor arrivals, the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit revealed in their first quarter report.
Four (4) of the town’s toutist attractions, namely: Our Lady of Divine Mercy Shrine and Retreat House, Seven Falls, Sa Balai Lake View Resort and Punta Isla Lake Resort likewise made it to the top 5 Most Visited Tourist Attractions during this year’s Holy Week season covering the period April 2 – 10.
Following Lake Sebu is Tupi wirh 58,149, Banga – 57,103, Surallah – 39,142, City of Koronadal – 30,378, Polomolok – 10,916, T’boli –5,479, Tampakan -3,052 and Sto. Nino – 1,991.
Visitor arrivals recorded on a monthly basis showed January with 141, 739, February – 134,810 and March – 119,014.
