Visitors comprising Same Day Tourists and Overnight Guests were recorded by the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit at 611,723 from January to March 2024.
ACTM Unit Statistician Richie Matunding disclosed that the month of March this year reached 267,817 with January and February contributing 175,274 and 168,632, respectively.
Lake Sebu town still lived up to the expectation as the summer and eco-cultural capital of South Cotabato for being the top tourist destination for the first quarter with 235,025 visitor arrival.
Running second is Banga with 75,941 followed by Tampakan with 71,632.
