The Community Development Information Council (CDIC) of the municipality of Tampakan celebrated their 27th Foundation Anniversary last January 29 with the launching of its first Kapihan sa Tampakan Media Forum.
Graced by pioneer CDIC members led by Community Affairs Officer II Efren Villarina, members of the local tri-media and government information officers, the program highlighted with a message delivered by Mayor Leonardo Escobillo.
Escobillo congratulated the CDIC for their invaluable support in disseminating the different programs, projects and activities (PPAs) of the municipality.
He likewise reported the gains he made in local governance in 2015, highlighting the different PPAs his administration had accomplished and their plans in 2016.
The Kapihan’s first guests were the municipal COMELEC and PNP who gave updates on the forthcoming 2016 Automated Synchronized Local and National Elections.
Philippine Information Agency 12 Regional Director Olivia Sudaria moderated the Kapihan launching.
Villarina confirmed that the Kapihan will be a regular communication program of the LGU on a monthly basis.
