T’nalak festival sets to open doors of job opportunity

South Cotabato, Philippines—The Provincial Government of South Cotabato, through the Provincial Employment Service Office (PESO), is fully prepared to conduct a jobs fair as part of the upcoming T’nalak Festival 2025. Committee Chair for the Jobs Fair, Ms. Flora A. Montoya, announced that the event will take place on July 15, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Mall of Ace, City of Koronadal. The schedule may be extended depending on the number of job seekers in attendance.

According to Montoya, over 50 employers, both local and overseas, have confirmed participation. Overseas employers are particularly in need of skilled workers, while all employers will also be evaluating the attitude and character of applicants alongside their qualifications.

“Usually wala kita naganubo sa 50 ka employers both local and overseas na siya , but more on local employers kita,” Montoya stated.

To ensure a smooth and organized application process, PESO has implemented online pre-registration, with the registration link available soon on the official Facebook page of the Provincial Government of South Cotabato.

Applicants are advised to prepare the following: resume, biodata, Personal Data Sheet (PDS), valid IDs (especially licensed IDs), and authenticated or photocopied certificates such as NC I, NC II, or NC III. Proper business or casual attire is required for interviews, and all job seekers are encouraged to present themselves professionally.

Montoya emphasized the importance of this opportunity, noting that some employers may conduct Hiring-on-the-Spot (HOTS) depending on applicant qualifications.
