KORONADAL, SOUTH COTABATO- The Provincial of South Cotabato has a total of 2,643 employees; 1,024 for plantilla positions and 1,673 for job orders and contract service personnel. According to Mr. Alex D. Basco, Provincial Human Resource Management Officer, they are facing a big challenge this 2020 in a reason that from time to time they are hiring employees. As of now, there are 161 vacant position available and they already have published 105 of these vacant positions and 55 people are all ready for the interview.
Mr. Basco said that he is trying his best to be a man with competent and efficient workforce for in the part of hiring section, they are continuously processing the job order contracts and they are preparing plantilla positions for casual employess with a total of 91 all in all. This is good news for everybody who is in dire for these positions because this has been approved by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and it will be ready for the approval of our honorable governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr.
Furthermore, the first performance management team is already through with its revision on Merit Promotion Plan; a plan where the selection of employees for appointment in the government service shall be open to all qualified men and women according to the principle of merit and fitness and there shall be equal employment opportunity for men and women at all levels of position in the agency, provided they meet the minimum requirements of the position to be filled. The good office met last Friday; January 17, 2020 and they will submit the Merit Promotion Plan for the final approval of the Civil Service Commission.
