Green Capitol Committee declares winners for 2020 Clean and Green Office
With its commitment and support to the worldwide campaign against environmental degradation and compliance to the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000 the Province of South Cotabato spearheads the Search for Clean and Green Office which forms part of the Green and Healthy Capitol campaign. The search is conducted to all departments which include divisions and units under the Provincial Governor’s Office. These offices will be divided in three categories: Small, Medium and Big offices. Said offices will be evaluated by the Green Capitol Committee. During the Monday convocation activity conducted early this week, the winners were officially declared under the following categories: Small Office Category: 1st Place South Cotabato Economic Enterprise Management Office (SCEEMO) with Certificate of Recognition and Php5000, 2nd Place PGO- Internal Audit with Certificate of Recognition, 3rd Place Provincial Administrator’s Office with Certificate of Recognition; Medium Office Category: 1st Place Provincial Human Resource Management Office with Certificate of Recognition and Php10,000, 2nd Place Provincial Budget Office with Certificate of Recognition, 3rd Place Provincial Environment and Management Office, with Certificate of Recognition. For Big Office Category ; 1st Place Provincial General Services Office with Certificate of Recognition and Php15,000; 2nd Place Provincial Agriculturist’s Office with Certificate of Recognition; 3rd Place Sangguniang Panlalawigan Office with Certificate of Recognition; ; Special Award for Most Improved Office: PGO- Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum Unit, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office and PGO-South Cotabato Sports Complex with Certificates of Recognition.
