SOUTH COTABATO INTENSIFIES PEACE EFFORTS, PLANS MAJOR SERBISYO CARAVAN

KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato – The Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) of South Cotabato convened yesterday at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Mini Conference Hall to finalize the implementation of an extensive Serbisyo Caravan aimed at strengthening peace and development initiatives in the province.

The coordination meeting, brought together by representatives from various government agencies, security forces, and local stakeholders to orchestrate a comprehensive service delivery program that will reach remote and vulnerable communities.

During the meeting, task force members mapped out target communities and coordinated logistics to ensure maximum impact of the caravan. The body also discussed security measures and community engagement strategies to guarantee the success of the upcoming program.

The Provincial Government highlighted that the Serbisyo Caravan exemplifies South Cotabato’s proactive implementation of Executive Order No. 70, which institutionalizes the whole-of-nation approach in attaining inclusive and sustainable peace. The initiative aims to strengthen the bond between government institutions and local communities, fostering an environment conducive to lasting peace and sustainable development in the region.

The specific schedule and locations for the Serbisyo Caravan will be announced following final coordination with local government units and participating agencies. The Provincial Government encourages residents to actively participate when the caravan reaches their respective communities.
