South Cotabato, Philippines – As the events of the T’nalak Festival 2025 unfolds, a dynamic lineup of events that will showcase the province’s rich cultural heritage, culinary traditions, and creative talents are in the list. In a recent guesting in Tnalak TV, Tourism Officer I Francisco M. Cerbo Jr. outlined the highlights that promised an inclusive festival experience.
“As of now, we have done a series of meetings with Partners and the South Cotabato Tourism and Hospitality Council,” Cerbo stated.
One of the main attractions, “Weaving Flavours of the South,” returns for its 3rd edition on July 17, 2025, at The Farm @ Carpenter Hill, in partnership with the South Cotabato Tourism and Hospitality Council and Unilever Philippines. The culinary showdown features two categories: the Filipino Cuisine Cook-Off and the exclusive Grand Kakanin Setup for the province’s 11 LGUs. A food symposium will kick off at 1 PM, followed by the cook-off at 2 PM, with professional and student participants grouped into threes. Judges from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will grace the event.
Simultaneously, the “Panubli” Weaving Exhibit runs from July 11 to 18, spotlighting the craftsmanship of South Cotabato’s indigenous weavers, including the Tabi Blaan and Elwek Tboli techniques. Now in its 3rd year, the exhibit promotes cultural sustainability through live demonstrations and a formal cultural opening.
Adding flair, the LGBTQIA+ Night on July 6 at 7 PM will crown the 2025 Amazing Queen of the South, celebrating diversity and pride.
Other major events include Koronadal’s Night on July 8, featuring rock concerts and cultural exchange with Mayor Ogena and Governor Tamayo, and the prestigious Governor’s Night, honoring top licensure exam passers, local artists, and designers with awards and performances that showcase South Cotabato’s best.
With a packed schedule, T’nalak Festival 2025 promises to be a grand celebration of unity in diversity, culture, and excellence.
