“Balik Probinsiya” for stranded South Cotabateños underway

The Provincial Government of South Cotabato through the Arts, Culture, and Tourism (ACTS) Promotions Office is initiating moves to bring back stranded province mates from outside of the province.
Argie Ryan Asaria said the provincial government is still on the process of accounting the list on how many stranded South Cotabateños are now confined at different parts of the country.
Initial accounting as of April 28, 2020, at 4 pm now reaches 2438.
Asaria said, based on the nearest airport, Metro Manila has the highest number of strandees with a total of 1501.
Cebu has a total of 233, while the rest are situated in Clark,172; Iloilo,152; Palawan, 21; Bacolod,16; Albay, 3; Bohol,7; Boracay, 22; Laoag, 9; Naga,1; Tacloban,4; and Sibulan, 2.
25 are for validation,
Based on the filled out forms, at least 269 strandees are from other parts of Mindanao.
As to their place of residence, Koronadal City has 749; Polomolok, 570; Banga 203; Surallah, 191; Tboli, 187; Tupi, 135; Norala, 135; Sto. Niño, 82, Tampakan, 92; Tantangan, 9 and Lake Sebu 34.
The provincial government will accommodate strandees with the following provisions:
1. They can secure barangay certification coming from respective barangays.
2. Submit themselves to quarantine protocols and;
3. One bedroom with toilet
South Cotabato strandees are required to fill out the form posted on the official Facebook page of the province, The provincial government of South Cotabato.
