The Mutya ng South Cotabato pageant, a highlight of the T’nalak Festival, is back with great anticipation. This year’s competition features eighteen brilliant candidates from nine municipalities and one component city, along with four contenders from various regional offices and three representatives from the private sector.
Like their predecessors, the 2024 candidates have undergone rigorous preparations, proving that beauty and intellect go hand in hand. They showcased their talents and poise during a live broadcast interview on the Provincial Information Office’s “Hinun-anon sa Kapitolyo,” demonstrating their capabilities beyond physical appearance.
These aspiring queens have been through intense training, from pasarela (pageant walk) to speech training, and have participated in various promotional activities, including radio guesting and mall tours. The Provincial Treasurer’s Office-Committee for Mutya ng South Cotabato 2024 has been ramping up promotions for the event, utilizing multimedia platforms and engaging distinguished guests to ensure widespread excitement.
Adding to the glamour of this year’s pageant, Miss World 2013 Megan Young and her husband, actor Mikael Daez, will host the event. The judging panel will feature esteemed experts in the pageantry field, ensuring a fair and professional evaluation of the contestants.
As the silver anniversary of the T’nalak Festival approaches, so does the Mutya ng South Cotabato pageant. Be sure to watch the candidates receive their sashes on July 1, 2024, during the Monday convocation program.
