South Cotabato, Philippines—South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. confirmed that the 2025 TNALAK Festival activities have been running smoothly and successfully, with high participation and support from the community.
In a recent “Governor’s Meet the Press” session, Tamayo expressed his satisfaction with how the festivities have unfolded so far. The TNALAK Festival, which runs until July 18, features various cultural, civic, and entertainment events celebrating South Cotabato’s heritage, unity, and progress.
“Sa tanan nga mga events nga natakda naton, very successful ang celebrations. Nagapasalamat gid ako sa tanan nga South Cotabateños nga padayon ang suporta kag nakipagsinadya sa aton selebrasyon,” Governor Tamayo said.
He noted that the positive flow of the activities reflects not only the meticulous planning of the provincial government but also the vibrant participation of the local communities. Tamayo urged the public to continue joining the upcoming events leading to the festival’s conclusion on July 18.
“I hope nga mapadayon ang aton pag-participate sa mga activities, especially tubtob sa July 18. Madamo gid nga salamat sa inyo tanan,” he added.
The TNALAK Festival is an annual celebration held every July in South Cotabato, showcasing the diverse culture and traditions of its people, particularly highlighting the woven T’nalak cloth of the T’boli tribe, a symbol of unity in diversity.
With just a few days remaining, the provincial government is ensuring that all remaining activities will be carried out successfully and safely, as it continues to promote culture, tourism, and local pride through the TNALAK Festival 2025.
