South Cotabato, Philippines— More than one hundred kilometers of roads have been paved under the administration of Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. since he assumed office in 2019.

Based on data from the Provincial Engineer’s Office covering the years 2019 to 2025 recorded 101.32 kilometres of paved roads funded by over 1.6 billion pesos from the provincial government.

According to the PEO, the reported data increases as the office consistently monitors ongoing infrastructure projects.

It can be recalled that when Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. took office in July 2019, one of his priorities was to strengthen the province’s infrastructure, including the paving of roads in remote sitios and barangays.

At present, the road network in the province continues to expand to improve accessibility and bring essential services closer to the people.
