The Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO) through its Research, Evaluation and Monitoring (REM) Division is now accepting application for authentication of civil registry documents in celebration of National Statistics Month (NSM) every October of the year.
October is celebrated as NSM pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 647 signed by then President Corazon C. Aquino on September 20, 1990.
Now on its 27th year and with its theme “Sustainable Development: Making Statistics Count,” one of the most significant events in its history is the merger of 3 statistical offices, namely; the National Statistics Office, National Statistical Coordinating Board and Bureau of Agricultural Statistics into one agency that is now called the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
In a press statement, PPDO disclosed that interested applicants must bring one (1) photo-copy of any ID (school ID, employee ID, driver’s license, senior citizen’s ID, SSS/GSIS ID) and processing fee.
Processing fee for Birth, Marriage and Death Certificates is P190.00 per copy while P245.00 per copy is charged for Certificate of No Marriage Available (CENOMAR).
PPDO will send the documents to PSA – General Santos City for the proper authentication of the documents.
