Visitors of South Cotabato province from January to September this year now totaled 1,489,772 as per record gathered from the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum Unit (ACTMU).
ACTMU Statistician Richie Matunding disclosed that the month of September contributed 141,020 visitors which led to the almost 1.5 million total, ACTMU reported.
Same Day Tourists (Excursionists) for September accounted for 121,411 while Tourist Arrivals (Overnight Guests) totaled 19,609.
Foreign visitors meanwhile reached 149 with Americans (49), Indians (22), South Koreans (14), Japanese (12), New Zealanders (10) contributing the most number of visitors.
