SOUTH COTABATO, PHILIPPINES – The Sangguniang Panlalawigan approved the resolution no. 792 s. 2024 enacting appropriation ordinance No. 2024-08 entails the Annual Investment Plan for the Province of South Cotabato for 2025.
The 2025 Annual Budget of the Province of South Cotabato amounts to PHP 3,415,991,363.00. A large chunk of the budget next year, 38.7%, is allocated for General Public Services, 20% for Social Services, and 23.3% for other services, which comprised the local development fund, the PDRRM fund, debt services, and aid to the barangays.
Furthermore, over 8% of the budget is allocated for the economic enterprise services and operations in the province.
The annual budget for 2025 is streamlined based on the Executive Priority thrusts of the platform of Governance under the administration of Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. – which emphasizes five key priorities: Investments in Health care services and facilities, infrastructure, agriculture, education, and economy.
The 2025 annual budget has seen a slight increase compared to the 2024 annual budget, which amounts to PHP3,027,657,735.0
