South Cotabato has lined up series of activities this February in celebration of the National Arts Month with this year’s theme “Ani ng Sining, Bayang Malikhain” spearheaded by the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum Unit (ACTMU).
Senior Tourism Operations Officer Argie Ryan Asaria, ACTMU chief disclosed that the activities lined up will be participated by the Theater, Dance, Visual Arts and Music Sectors. The Culmination Activity/Awarding Ceremony, Asaria added, will be held on February 26 at KCC Mall of Marbel Activity Center.
The Activities and their respective schedule are as follows; DRAMA FESTIVAL COMPETITIION (February 24); 2nd Province-wide FOLK DANCE WORKSHOP (February 17 – 18, Polomolok Municipal Gymnasium); SLT ARTS & & CRAFTS, VISUAL ARTS & HANDURAW/WALL OF LIFE – PITIK SOUTH COTABATO PHOTO EXHIBITS. (February 16 – 26, KCC Mall Activity Center); Opening of South Community Museum (February 26); KEMNAHE LINGON SONGWRITING WORKSHOP (February 28 – 29, Lake Sebu).
Other Events; South Cotabato Culture & Arts Council (SCCAC) 1st Regular Quarterly Meeting (February 23), Participation to MUSIKAHAN SA TAGUM FESTIVAL – JUNIOR RONDALLA COMPETITION (February 21 – 24, Tagum City)
