A Lake Sebu NHS student won first place in the “Writing Stories” for Children” contest organized by the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit in celebration of rhe Buwan ng Wika this month of July
Edianne Son Alquino winning article entitled “”Kehetengon” (a T’boli word which means Pagkatuto in Filipino), got the judges nod that garnered him P4,000 cash incentive plus Certificate.
Second place went to Phamela Khate Marfil of Poblacion Polomolok NHS whose story is entitled “”Law-oy ni Amir.” She got P3,000 cash incentive plus Certificate.
Meanwhile, Aissa Kaye Diono of |Libertad NHS received P2.000 plus Certificate as third place winner. Her winning article is entitled “Ollie Brocolli.”
The awarding ceremony, attended by teachers and parents, was conducted last Septe,ber 9 (3pm) at the ACTM ogffce and led by ACTM chief STOO Argie Ryan Asaria and ACTM Culture and Arts Coordinator Indira Cagaanan.
