PTO targets Php700 million local revenue in 2023

The Provincial Treasurer’s Office called on the cooperation of all stakeholders and partner offices to help reach their target of Php700 million this 2023.
Provincial Treasurer Alvim Batol said it is a challenging year for their office since this is by far the highest target they received.
In 2022, their office has reached their Php600 million target for the year and they are grateful for all the support given by partner agencies.
Once again, Batol is still confident that through the assistance of other local income sources of the province specifically from the economic enterprises, hospital income, general services collections, revenues from the hospital health care waste facility, collections from Agriculture and Veterinary services, among others will fulfill this year’s target.
“This is not going to be easy for us but through your help, we can surpass these challenges.” He said,
Batol disclosed that they only rely on the revenue from the Real Property Taxes, but other local sources came from other offices such as the South Cotabato Economic Enterprises, Provincial Environment and Management Office, government hospitals, office of the Provincial Agriculturist and Veterinary Offices.
He also reminds everyone that in order to avail of the 10% discount on RPT tax, property owners would pay their taxes on or before March 31, 2023.
