Koronadal City—The Provincial Government of South Cotabato partnered with St. Elizabeth Hospital in General Santos City to provide healthcare services to South Cotabatenos and ensure immediate medical care for the underprivileged.
Gov. Reynaldo Tamayo, Jr. and representatives from St. Elizabeth Hospital signed a Memorandum of Agreement witnessed by Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office Sonia Bautista.
The agreement is under the Crisis Intervention and Rehabilitation Division of PSWDO.
“This hospital will accept our ailing constituents referred by our government hospitals without the need of any deposit (and) any other requirements they would ask patients before allowing them entry. It becomes easier for them to access medical attention,” PSWDO Sonia Bautista said.
The towns of Polomolok, Tupi, and some barangays of Tboli come to General Santos City for medication attention.
Representatives of St. Elizabeth Hospital thanked the Governor for allowing them to serve the people of South Cotabato.
