CITY OF KORONADAL — South Cotabato Provincial Government formally turned over one (1) Plastic Densifier and one (1) Shredder each to its ten (10) component municipalities in a simple ceremony here during the Monday Convocation Program on August 15.
Governor Daisy Avance Fuentes together with Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members led by Vice-Governor Vicente de Jesus, awarded Certificates of Turn-over to representatives of LGUs that attended the ceremony.
In his message prior to the turn-over, Provincial Environment Management Officer Siegfred Flaviano disclosed that the rationale behind the distribution of said machines is to further enhance the Solid Waste Management Program of the LGUs province-wide particularly on Recycling.
Earlier, the plastic densifiers and shredders were tested by technicians of Green Valley Machineries, the local supplier and winning bidder, with the attendance of MENRO personnel from recipient LGUs.
Each machine cost P150,000.00 for a total of P3,000,000.00.
