KORONADAL CITY, SOUTH COTABATO- As part of the prevention/mitigation and preparedness program of the province, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) installed twenty-seven (27) Early Warning Signages (EWS) in flashflood and landslide-prone areas in the province.
These are in line with two (2) out of 4 thematic areas of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan (NDRRMP) disaster Prevention/Mitigation and disaster preparedness.
As of this writing, 5 EWS was installed in the Municipality of Surallah, 5-Sto.Nino, 2-Banga, 3-Tantangan, 4-Tampakan, 3-Tupi, and 5-Koronadal City.
