Lake Sebu, South Cotavato’s prime eco-cultural destination and summer capital, conquered the majority of tourist attractions among the province’ 11 LGUs visited by domestic and foreign tourists for the first quarter of 2022, the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit reported.
Nine (9) of Lake Sebu’s tourist attractions landed in the Top 15 Most Visited Sites and they were Garden By The Lake, Seven Falls, Camp Lake View, Dreamweavers Hill, Dolores Lake Resort, Sunrise Garden Lake Resort, Our Lady of Divine Mercy Shrine, and Emilio’s Kawa and Flower Garden.
SG Farm (short for Strawberry & Guyabano) located in Tupi that operated only during the pandemic outbreak made it to the top 15 together with Magsangyaw Peak.
Likewise, Mabukal Hot Sulfur Resort in the City of Koronadal, the province’s capital and SOCCSKSARGEN Regional Center landed in the top 15 .
NMeanwhile, Necita’s Lagoon and Nocil Resort in Norala town, the rice granary of the province, made it to the nagic 15.
ACTM reported 443,601 domestic and foreign visitors (classified as sane day vistors and guest nights) in South Cotabato for the first quarter of 2022.
