South Cotabato, Philippines — The vibrant rhythms of ballroom dancing will mark the grand opening of the 26th T’nalak Festival 2025, as the Dance Sports Competition takes center stage from July 5 to 6, 2025, at South Cotabato.
The event, chaired by the office of the Vice Governor, promises a bigger and more competitive staging this year. The committee opens the competition to more participants and categories, with five expert judges joining us this time.

The competition will feature multiple categories, including Junior/Youth Juvenile, Youth, Senior, Team Ballroom Amateur, Team Ballroom (Biggest Group), and Open Third World Category.
Participants from Zamboanga, Davao, Kidapawan, Sultan Kudarat, General Santos, and South Cotabato are expected to showcase their talents. An elimination round for the youth and juvenile divisions will follow a workshop session. Winners will receive substantial cash prizes.
Youth Category: Up to ₱8,000 for the champion; consolation prizes of ₱3,000
Team Ballroom Amateur: Up to ₱20,000; consolation prizes of ₱5,000
Biggest Team Ballroom Category: Up to ₱30,000; consolation prizes of ₱10,000
Open Third World Category: Up to ₱10,000; consolation prizes of ₱5,000
Pre-registration opens on June 12, 2025, through the official Facebook page of the Provincial Government of South Cotabato, where a QR code and event flyers are available.
