CITY OF KORONADAL — Some 17 teachers under the Special Program in the Arts (SPA) of the Department of Education (DepED) underwent a Seminar-Workshop on Theater Arts on Februay 17-19 at the Arts, Culture., Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit located at the 2nd floor of the South Cotabato Gymnasium & Cultural Center here.
“Apat sa Taglami” (AST) Theater Production stalwarts Annaliz Cabrido of the Provincial Information Office and Jim Raborar of DA-ATI spearheaded the 3-day workshop together with AST President CPA Florenz Tugas.
On the first day, participants were lectured about Playwriting and Acting, with Cabrido and Tugas as Resource Speakers, respectively.
The second day morning session was still dedicated to Acting while the afternoon session centered on Stage Management with Raborar as Resource Speaker.
Raborar likewise finished the last day workshop about Directing during the morning session and viewing of a stage play presentation courtesy of AST Theater T Production in the afternoon.
The two (2) One-Act Play presented to the participants were the 20-minute full length One-Act Play entitled “Ilabas ang Sky Flakes” while the other 5-minute Fragment Segment One-Act Play is entitled “Four Seasons,.”
The Theater Arts Workshop culminated with the distribution of certificates to the participants.
