The Provincial Government of South Cotabato congratulates five more of its scholars who recently passed the Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET).
These scholars came from the batches 10, 11, and 12 of the Kabugwason Paglaum Scholarship and Grant-In-Aid Program (KPSGIAP). They are in addition to the six (6) more professionals who successfully also passed their recent board exams.
These new aspiring teachers are the following:

For years, the provincial government has produced many financially challenged but deserving students to become professionals.
Aside from tuition fees, monthly stipend, and book allowance, the scholarship program also offers assistance to scholars who have board exams. Their benefits include the following:
for Bachelor’s Degree, a total of PHp30,000 is provided. Out of the total amount, P 10,000.00 is paid for Licensure Review and Examination and Php20,000 allowance.
For the Licensure Exam for Teachers or LET, Php5,000 is given for LET review and examination.
For Midwifery, 50 % of the total expenses presented for the Review and examination fee is provided or not less than P10,000.00 whichever is applicable.
The scholarship also offers assistance for post-graduate studies, especially for those wanted to become lawyers and doctors.
Those who want to take up Juris Doctor can avail of a maximum amount of P 10,000.00 per semester for Tuition fees, Matriculation, and other relevant school fees, and Php20,000 for Book and Monthly Stipend or a total of Php30,000 per semester or or 60,000.00/year
The scholarship also provides official and actual expenses not exceeding P45,000.00 for Licensure Review, allowance, and examination.
For the Doctor of Medicine, the scholarship provides Php20,000 for Tuition, Matriculation, and other relevant school fees per semester and another Php20,000 or Php4,000 for Book and Monthly Stipend or a total of 40,000.00 per semester or 80,000.00/year
For Licensure Review, allowance, and examination, the scholarship also provides P45,000.00.
