Food, Ukay-Ukay, and Fun Await Tnalak Festival 2025

South Cotabato, Philippines—Excitement builds as preparations are in full swing for the upcoming 26th T’nalak Festival 2025 and the 59th Founding Anniversary of South Cotabato. The Committee on Ukay-Ukay and Refreshments, led by the Provincial Treasurer’s Office confirmed that all stall slots are now fully booked, with over 70 stalls offering refreshments, ukay-ukay items, and souvenirs.

This year, the venue has shifted from inside Rizal Park to Jayce Avenue and the perimeter fence of Rizal Park due to ongoing park development. According to Mario Sorongon, the area now includes 1624 sq. meters of additional space for rides and RTW (ready-to-wear) stalls, thanks to the support of the city government.

“Ang food stalls are located sa main entrance sang aton Jayce Ave. and pakadto sa Post Office to City Health office. Pakadto sa aton PNP, we still have the UKAY UKAYstalls; may ara man ang mga ini sang souvenir located naman along Alunan Avenue from traffic light TO LBC. We have souvenirs dira. Makita naton ang mga T-shirts printing kag iban pa,“ Sorongon stated.

Visitors can explore:

● 76 food stalls stretching from the main entrance along Jayce Avenue to the post office.

● 70 ukay-ukay stalls along the perimeter

● 42 souvenir stalls located from LBC to the traffic lights on Alunan Avenue, featuring t-shirt printing and other local products.

Rides and amusement activities will be bigger than ever, with 16 rides, including biking, a Ferris wheel, and octopus rides—some of which were not available last year. All stall owners have completed the draw lots and payment process, which includes fees for rent, electricity, and environmental charges. Sorongon emphasized transparency and thanked the city mayor, vice mayor, and Rizal Park manager for their support of the event’s expansion.
