Governor Tamayo hails voters’ integrity, expresses deep gratitude

Koronadal City, South Cotabato- Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr. expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of South Cotabato for the overwhelming support and trust they gave him during the recently concluded local elections. According to the governor, he salutes the voters of the province for not being swayed or blinded by money and other vote-buying tactics.

Based on official results, Governor Tamayo garnered 346,611 votes — a significant lead compared to his opponent who received just over 140,000 votes.

Pinahanga niyo ako doon.”  he added.

The governor also highlighted that despite the limitations of his campaign — with no sound system, tarpaulins, or other campaign materials — they pushed through with the help of private individuals who voluntarily offered their support.

As he enters his final term as governor, Tamayo expressed his desire to further improve and accelerate the delivery of services to the people of South Cotabato.
