KORONADAL, SOUTH COTABATO- The Provincial Government of South Cotabato through the Provincial Environment Office chief Siegfred Flaviano conducts massive assessment and intervention on the siltation being present on the Allah River.
PEMO chief flaviano said that the said office investigate to know the status, the level of siltation, and other agricultural activities.
The technical working group together with DENR-EMB 12, DPWH, NCIP, and other government agencies involved are now working to efficiently and effectively address the issues.
On the other hand, on September 2 there will be a launching on Project DRIVE at South Cotabato Gymnasium and Cultural Center together with Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr. in partnership with the DENR.
The acronym of the said project DRIVE:
D-redging
R-ehabilitation
I-nformation
V-egetation
E-nforcement
There will be a joint signing between both parties and issuing of Executive Order creating the anti-environmental illegal crime task force.
