The Provincial Government of South Cotabato spearheaded the turnover ceremony of a new ambulance to the Philippine Red Cross and Bureau of Fire Protection – South Cotabato.
Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer Rolly Doane C. Aquino, RN, MPA, underscored the importance of fortifying and expanding the capabilities of these two offices to act as primary responders during emergencies and road accidents.
Aquino emphasized that the province has allocated resources, including an additional ambulance, to bolster their capacity in addressing the needs of residents, facilitating swift transport from homes to hospitals and vice versa.
Furthermore, it was assured that local government support will be readily extended whenever necessary.
