KORONADAL CITY, SOUTH COTABATO- President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. took the initiative to personally distribute Certificate of Land Ownership Award (CLOA) and electronic titles to 4,271 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) across SOCCSKSARGEN region during his recent visit to South Cotabato.
These crucial land titles are pivotal components of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) administered by the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), aimed at uplifting the living conditions and economic prospects of rural communities. This effort includes the Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) Project, which seeks to fortify land ownership security by providing individual e-titles to beneficiaries.
Through CARP, numerous farmers have been granted the invaluable opportunity to secure land ownership, leading to significant improvements in their livelihoods and the overall welfare of their communities.
Simultaneously, the SPLIT Project endeavors to streamline the land distribution process for beneficiaries, ensuring that each individual receives their rightful land title, as underscored by President Marcos, Jr.
The impact of these initiatives is profound, with 1,620 ARBs in South Cotabato alone benefiting from the program, covering a substantial total area of 1,722 hectares.
