South Cotabato, Philippines—With all provincial governors currently attending the State of the Nation Address (SONA), the leadership of South Cotabato remains stable and proactive. Vice Governor Arthur Pingoy continues to serve as acting governor during this period of official engagement.
In a short but impactful address, Acting Provincial Administrator Atty. Renette B. Bergado reminded all employees to stay focused and committed to their responsibilities.
“While our governors are in Manila for the SONA, Vice Governor Pingoy continues to serve in an acting capacity. Let us all continue working diligently,” Atty. Bergado emphasized. “As our governor always says, it is a privilege to be here. We are given this rare opportunity to serve the people of South Cotabato—let’s make it count.”
She further encouraged all employees under the provincial government to maintain professionalism, uphold integrity, and deliver quality public service.
“Our presence here is not just a job—it is a responsibility and a chance to make a difference,” she added.
The message was delivered during the regular flag ceremony at the Provincial Capitol grounds and was well received by the employees. Atty. Bergado’s remarks aimed to reinforce the value of public trust and the importance of leadership continuity, especially during official functions that temporarily shift administrative roles.
As the province continues to function efficiently under temporary leadership, the commitment to good governance remains stronger than ever. The Provincial Government of South Cotabato assures its constituents of uninterrupted public service.
