The province’s Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit will launch this com ing July 2021 a radio program that will focus entirely on Culture and the Arts, Anna Liz Cabrido, ACTM Culture and Arts Staff disclosed.
Cabrido said that the Local Culture and Arts Council (LCAC) made the suggestion during one of its LCAC meetings to have a venue or forum where the importance of culture and the arts will be discussed; hence, a radio program was conceptualized.
The radio program which may run between 30 to 45 minutes per episode will tackle topics on local culture and arts thematic celebrations, festivals, among others, on a monthly basis. It will be aired over community radio stations in Tampakan, Tupi, Tboli and Lake Sebu, and plans are also underway for it to be heard in Koronadal City.
Hoted by Information Officer III Fruto Sumagaysay Jr. and Carbrido herself, the duo will be heard either through live broadcast or pre-recorded/canned version.
