South Cotabato, Philippines – Residents of Barangay New Iloilo in the Municipality of Tantangan, South Cotabato expressed their happiness over the turn over of the newly renovated Early Childhood Care and Development Classroom in the barangay recently.
The Provincial Government of South Cotabato funded the rehabilitation and renovation of the decades old building in line with the program on free education of South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr.
The Provincial Engineering Office spearheaded the construction of the newly renovated edifice that aims to serve 35 nursery students of the barangay.
The local barangay Council of New Iloilo, Tantangan also expressed their thanksgiving to the newly renovated edifice.
“Dako gid ang pasalamat namon kay Gov Jun Tamayo… Tungod sa sini nga building nakumpleto na gid ang mga facilities namon diri sa amon ECCD…” – said barangay council member Jocelyn Agullana.
The newly renovated ECCD classroom is just one of the many projects of the Provincial Government under the flagship program of Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. in providing free and accessible education to all from Pre-school to college.
