Special Program for the Arts (SPA) students in South Cotabato have undergone series of training/workshop on Theater Arts as part of the National Arts Month (NAM) celebration 2023 with its theme “Ani ng Sining, Bunga ng Galing.”
Under the tutelage of “Apat sa Taglamig” (AST) Stage Play Production, the SPA, onsisting of elementary and high school students divided into 3 clusters, were taught about Stage Management, Directing, Playwiting/Scriptwriting and Acting.
AST stalwarts Jim Raborar, Anna Liz Cabrido and Jojie Marquez were the speakers/trainers on the Theater Arts training.
The Theater Arts /workshop schedule were as follows: February 4 – 5 (City pf Koronadal, Banga and Tantangan Cluster); February 11 – 12 (Polomolok, Tampakan, Tuoi Cluster); February 25 – 26 (Surallah, Norala, Sto. Nino, Lake Sebu, T’boli Cluster).
On March 4 – 5, the output of the worksdhop cwill be shown though a Stage Production Play that will be hosted by T’boli LGU.
